Device: Iphone 4s
Version: 7.0.4
App: Snapseed
When I first took this photo I did so using the preinstaled camera app on the Iphone. I took the photo using the black and white setting. It was snowing while I was walking and it was slightly overcast. Later on I opened up the photo using the snapseed application.
The first thing that I adjusted on the photo was the contrast. The picture was nice on its own but because of the weather I felt it looked a little flat. Increasing the contrast really helped the building and trees stand out against the snow. I also adjusted the grain in the photo to make the flakes coming down more apprent against the dark building and road. The last aspect of the photo that I photo I processed was the tone. I used the vintage filter that is available on the snapseed app to give the photo a very slight warmth. I felt that this added to the mystery of the road.
I took this phot while wlaking on Temple's Ambler campus. I throught the way that the snow was coming down fresh on the street looked really pretty. I also felt that the slight bend in the road at the end could be an interesting line for the eye to follow.
